These are the Zone Maps and some of the documents currently in use at Victoria Taxi, Westwind Taxi and Sooke Harbour Taxi. The maps were prepared by Davenport Maps who have granted us permission to post them here for users to download and print for their own use. To view them you will need the Adobe Acrobat Viewer.

Also provided are md5 checksum files and ASCII Armoured signature files to ensure these documents are authentic and authoritive. The md5 checksum were generated using the GNU md5sum v2.0 from GNU Core Utilities v5. The signature files were generated using GNU GnuPg v1.2.2 but work with PGP at least at version 8.0. My public key is available here. If you decide to use these files, save them to disk by whatever means your browser provides.

Updates

  • Update 2003-08-12 - The on-line PDF versions of these documents and associated files have been replaced by archived versions. This was done in order to regain some space on the web site and to minimize traffic.
  • Update 2003-12-22 - A new version of the Income Summary form is on line below.
  • Update 2003-12-30 - Add Driver's Schedule Change Request Form.
  • Update 2005-03-12 - Update Zone Feeding Schedule.
  • Update 2005-03-12 - Update zone maps to reflect zone feed changes.
  • Update 2005-03-12 - We are now posting unarchived PDF files as opposed to zip and tar archives.
  • Update 2005-03-12 - We are depreciating the use of MD5 checksums and GPG digital signatures. As the PDF documents are replaced they will be digitally signed with Acrobat.
  • Update 2005-03-16 - Update Driver Income Summary Statement form.
  • Update 2006-07-17 - Update Driver Income Summary Statement form to reflect GST rate change. Modify date field. Remove Tariff.zip and create a link to the Passenger Transportation Board website.

This is the zone map for core Victoria.
Represented are Zones 1 through 68, most of Zone 48, parts of Zones 55, 58, 77, and a corner of Zone 83.

This is the zone map for the Saanich Penninsula.
Represented are Zones 55 through 98, with the exceptions of Zones 96 and 97 which are in the Western Communities and Sooke respectivley. Also in this map are a corner of Zone 48, and parts of Zones 58 & 83.
