Victoria Taxi started in 1970 with a fleet of 10 taxi cabs - a fleet which has now grown to include over 50 taxi cabs that proudly service the Greater Victoria area.

We have an excellent safety record and our taxi cabs are all mechanically Government inspected every 6 months. Our taxi cabs may not exceed our "ten-year-old" rule, and may not be on the road as a taxi for more than 4 years. Aside from the Government inspection, all of our taxi cabs are inspected monthly by Victoria Taxi’s Safety Committee.

We have a very efficient office staff with some of our dispatchers working at Victoria Taxi for over 20 years! We have very experienced drivers that go through a screening process before they qualify to drive our Victoria Taxi customers around.

Victoria Taxi is also very involved in the Victoria and West Shore Communities.

• The Gordon Head Women’s Fastball team, sponsored by Victoria Taxi, placed 2nd in “The Women’s Fastball Provincial Games”, held in Cloverdale in July 2004.
• Our Westwind Taxis won 3rd prize in the West Shore Community’s Lavender Days Parade held in July 2004.
