Victoria Taxi has a fleet of 52 taxis - each of which is very well maintained and inspected on a regular basis. Each taxi undergoes inspection every 6 months by a Government certified mechanic. To ensure a superior level of safety and customer satisfaction, Victoria TaxiÕs Safety Committee inspects each taxi every 3 months in addition to Government inspections.
Every Victoria Taxi is washed and vacuumed daily to ensure a pleasant journey for our clients.

We were the first taxi cab company west of Toronto to offer wireless Interac in all of our taxi cabs. We accept many kinds of payments, including:

Meter Rates:
$3.05 for the first 58.10 metres, or fraction thereof.
$.10 for each addenda 58.10 m or fraction thereof.
$.10 for each 9.71 seconds of the taxi's stopping or waiting time.
Time or Mileage Rates:
$37.08 for the first hour or fraction thereof, or $1.72 for each loaded kilometer - whichever is greater.
No charge shall be made for extra passengers.
No driver of a taxi cab shall convey any person, or persons other than the person, or persons first engaging the taxi cab.
Note: The carrying of passengers for separate fares is prohibited.
